PADIATRIC AIDS INITIATIVE

It is an ongoing project which ensures access to nutritional supplement, care & support, OI treatment, drug adherence and positive living by establishing community and family support.
The care and support programme for the children living with HIV/AIDS (CHLAs) programme has been taken up by PRDA-Bishnpur since 2007 in both Bishnupur and Churachandpur districts under the financial assistance of Clinton Foundation. The great achievement of this project is that most of the CHLAs have disclosed their status to the society.

Ishok village was one of the hundreds of villages affected by construction of Ithai barrage at the confluence of the Manipur River, the Khuga River and the Ungamel channel in 1983, near Ithai village in Bishnupur. PRDA runs a ‘People credit and thrift project’ (PCTP).
