Community Leader’s Consultation
PRDA and UNMM together organised Community Leader’s Consultative on strengthening Human Security “ A path Way for Reconciliation and Peace Building in the Society on 30th December 2019 at PRDA – Conference hall. Mr. Boipu – UNMM and L. Suranjoy Singh – PRDA were the resource persons. They access how to strengthen the community in such situation of Manipur like Naga Accord, CAB and other issues within the community itself.
Success and achievements: We could be able to complete the CMs collection on given period of time though it may be very difficult to manage the situation. And we have added 6 children from Heinoubok as a new sponsor child in replaced of migrated children. Children were showing their great support to F/As and they had developed their drawing skills tremendously.
Ishok village was one of the hundreds of villages affected by construction of Ithai barrage at the confluence of the Manipur River, the Khuga River and the Ungamel channel in 1983, near Ithai village in Bishnupur. PRDA runs a ‘People credit and thrift project’ (PCTP).
