It is a Centre for care and support for the People Living with HIV/AIDS which is one of the Projects supported by the Manipur AIDS Control Society(MACS) and National AIDS Control Organization (NACO), Govt. of India. It is at present a 10 bedded care center accommodating the People Living with HIV/AIDS (PLHA).
Ishok village was one of the hundreds of villages affected by construction of Ithai barrage at the confluence of the Manipur River, the Khuga River and the Ungamel channel in 1983, near Ithai village in Bishnupur. PRDA runs a ‘People credit and thrift project’ (PCTP).
